Research correspondence on the University of Virginia and the Civil War [manuscript, 1965.

The collection consists of a telegram from Martin Meyerson of the University of California at Berkely requesting a copy of the commencement or baccalalaureate addresses from 1865, and a reply from Harold Eads stating that only five students graduated in 1865, there is no existing record for a speaker, and the University Magazine which formerly published public addresses suspended publication from 1862-1867.
